The Christian Education Committee (CEC)
Mission The mission of the Christian Education Committee is to bring the Gospel message of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to the entire community through a combination of focused and meaningful programs. The Christian Education Committee invites everyone to join us regularly for the following programs offered throughout the year:
· Weekly Adult Bible Study – Every Monday evening at 7:00 p.m., Father Gomidas welcomes everyone for an ongoing study of the Bible. The Bible Study is conducted in a relaxed atmosphere of brotherly & Christian love with insightful discussions that apply the Bible message to our daily lives. Adult Bible study classes are held from September to May each year.
· Weekly Youth Bible Study – Simultaneously, every Monday evening at 7:00 p.m., The Youth Bible Study class gives high school students the opportunity to fellowship together under the loving guidance of Yeretzgeen Joanna Baghsarian. The group works together each week to discuss issues that are important in their lives and seek out the Biblical guidance provided on those issues. It is truly a unique experience for high school students. High School Bible Study that are held in the church library from September through May.
· Family Friday Night – Four times each year the Christian Education Committee sponsors an evening of fellowship that is open to all ages. Each fellowship night has a different topic, and separate programs are offered for pre-teens and teens to adults. Look for announcements and flyers for upcoming events, and please join us for our next Friday Family Night!
· Special Events – Periodically, we offer special programs when opportunities arise with special guest speakers or performers. With these events are announced via the church bulletin and through special mailings to parishioners. Please join us for all of these events!
