Youth Bible Study

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

Mission

To serve others with God’s Agapi Love and to improve the quality of life in our community and around the world. To guide and help highly motivated young people to discover the purpose for which they were created. With the Bible as a base, we search the Scripture and learn how to:

·     Bond as children of God

·     Cultivate and nurture the Gifts of the Holy Spirit we received during the Sacrament of Chrismation

·     Mobilize our Christian faith by becoming more like Jesus

·     Serve the family of believers

·     Serve others by sharing the message of God’s Agapi Love

Activities

The students plan an end-of-the-year event where their spiritual development is demonstrated. Proceeds from the benefit are donated to benefit those less fortunate both in Armenia and in the local Providence community.

“I was hungry and you gave me something to eat. I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger and you invited me in. I needed clothes and you clothed me. I was sick and you looked after me. I was in prison and you came to visit me. Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for Me …

(Matthew 25:35)
